Teaching Assistant (independent study on Transcript) for Trimester 3 Adv Topics in Mathematics elective.

Course Focus: Outlining an undergraduate first-semester course in Group Theory.

Supervisor: Dr. Michael Abramson.

Lectures Taught (50 min each)

Class 1: Investigating the symmetries of regular polygons.
Class 5: Selected exercises on abelian groups and subgroups.
Class 7 (mini-lecture): All groups of order 4.
Class 9 (mini-lecture): Homomorphisms and isomorphisms.
Class 11: The dihedral group and its conjugacy classes.
Class 19: Proof of Burnside’s lemma and standard problems with Burnside's lemma.
